Elgar Roof is a professional roofing company covering virtually every part of the roof: repairs and leak-finding, complete replacements and re-roofs, pitched and flat roofing, slate and tile work, chimneys and leadwork, and the roofline — fascias, soffits and guttering. From a single slipped tile to a full new roof, the job gets the same approach.

How we work

Every job starts with a proper look. Roofs fail in ways that can't be diagnosed from the pavement — water travels before it shows, and the visible symptom is rarely the fault — so we inspect before we quote, photograph what we find, and explain it in plain English. The quotation that follows is itemised: you see what's being done, with what materials, and why.

We'll also tell you what you don't need. A repair that will genuinely last gets recommended as a repair; a roof that has reached the end of its life gets that news honestly, with the arithmetic to back it up. Our repair-or-replace guide sets out exactly how we make that call — we'd rather lose a big job than sell you one you didn't need.
