Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use this website.
These terms govern your use of the Elgar Roof website. By using the site, you agree to them.
About us
This site is operated by Elgar Roof, a professional roofing company. Our contact details are at the bottom of every page.
Website information
The information on this site — including our guides to roofing problems, materials and costs — is provided in good faith for general guidance. Roofs vary enormously, and nothing on this site is a diagnosis of your specific roof: that requires an inspection. Any indicative figure given through this website is just that — indicative. A formal written quotation is provided after assessing the work and forms the basis of any contract.
Quotations and work
Quotations are free and without obligation. The specification, price and any guarantees for roofing work are those set out in the written quotation you accept, not in general statements on this website. Where unforeseeable additional work is discovered during a job (for example hidden timber decay), it is agreed with you before being carried out.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, photographs, design and code — belongs to Elgar Roof or its licensors. Photographs of our work remain our copyright; please ask before reusing them.
Liability
While we take care to keep the information on this site accurate, we don't guarantee it is complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by UK law, Elgar Roof isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site itself, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence). This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to any roofing work we carry out for you.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
