How We Work
From first photo to final sign-off — what to expect, step by step.
Most people deal with a roofer a handful of times in their life, so the process is worth spelling out. Here's how a job with us runs, from first contact to sign-off.
1. Start with photographs
Send pictures of the problem through the contact page — the roof from the ground, plus anything showing indoors. For many jobs that's enough to quote from; for anything ambiguous we'll say plainly that it needs eyes on the roof first, because guessing serves nobody.
2. Inspection and diagnosis
We look at the roof properly and work out the cause, not just the symptom — the difference between a repair that lasts and one you pay for twice. You get told what we found in plain English, with photographs, including the things you don't need to fix.
3. An itemised quotation
The quote sets out the work, the materials by name, access arrangements, and waste disposal — itemised so you can compare it fairly against anyone else's. Free, without obligation, and valid whether you book this month or after you've had other opinions (we'd encourage them).
4. The work itself
Jobs are scheduled around weather honestly — some tasks can't be done properly in rain or frost, and we won't pretend otherwise. The roof is left weathertight at the end of every working day, the site is kept tidy, and anything unexpected found mid-job is photographed and agreed with you before it's touched.
5. Sign-off
You get photographs of the finished work — most of a roof job is invisible from the ground, and you shouldn't have to take it on faith — along with any guarantees in writing. If something's not right, we come back: the job is done when you're satisfied, not when the van leaves.
